I'm way to impatient for that.  And I live in Washington State, where some years the sun in an oddity rather than a staple.

My plan is to buy a sun light that is used to treat Seasonal Affectiveness Disorder or Psoriasis and stick the lamp in front of that.

I think I could fade it pretty quickly with this method.  But the question is would that work?  I've never used these lights, but as far as I know it releases UVa and UVb rays and I believe that is what's needed to fade something.  

Does anyone have any experience with these lamps?  Are you warned to put on sunscreen before sitting in front of one?
