Haggerty made the lantern also, but the finish is brass and, in my humble opinion, the quality of metal work inferior.

At left, notice the detail on the Mathmos base. The trim lines just below the globe, and the metal cap (presumably to add more pretend "oil" to your lantern) are at times missing from the Lava-Simplex versions.
